Old Hickory comin’
Haul out the hounds
Like them banana trees
Wanna cut old Billy down
Billy Bowlegs
Billy Bowlegs
Been here forever
Ain’t gonna leave
Home of his grandfathers
Billy was a chief
Billy Bowlegs
Alligator chief
Billy Bowlegs
In Cuscowilla
Billy had a dream
Was a gray cloud comin’
Like you’ve never seen
Billy Bowlegs
What does all this mean?
Come down from Washington
Roll up their sleeves
Chop down your forests
Like some disease
Billy Bowlegs
“They’ll have to get through me”
Billy Bowlegs
Billy Bowlegs
Fight like a panther
With tooth and claw
“I will dead before I’m hauled to Arkansas”
Say Billy Bowlegs
“And that’s a long ways off”
Go tell the others
Go tell your wives
Go stir the black drink
Sharpen your knives
“This is war, this is war”
Ol’ Billy cried
Billy Bowlegs
“Gonna be a fight”
There’s a boat on fire
Coming up the way
Smoke spilling out
Cyprus trees aflame
And that sky is glowing red
As Georgia clay
And the fireboat has come
For Billy Bowlegs

I'm still a little blown away by the fact that one of my guitar influences released an instrumental guitar album on the same day as me and I didn't realize it.
But I've listened to it twice now and it gets better with every play.
In places it's like Syd Barret, Robby Krieger, and the Penguin Cafe Orchestra are having a jam session. Darren Douglas Danahy
